Buffalo Pizza

Serves: 2–3 | Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 12–15 minutes
Oven temp: 220 C (200 °C fan) / Gas Mark 7

Ingredients

  • 120 ml Dr. Will's Buffalo hot sauce 
  • 1 ball of pizza dough (enough for a 30 cm / 12″ pizza)
  • 150g mozzarella cheese, grated or shredded
  • 200g cooked chicken breast, torn or diced (tossed in a little extra Buffalo sauce if you like it spicy)
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese, grated

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 °C (200 °C fan) / Gas Mark 7. 
  2. On a floured surface, roll or stretch your dough into a 30 cm (12″) circle. Transfer it to a sheet of baking paper or your hot tray/stone.
  3. Spread the Buffalo sauce mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edge. Scatter over the mozzarella and add the chicken, red onion slices and parmesan. 
  4. Place in the oven and cook for 12–15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
  5. Remove from the oven. Optionally, drizzle blue cheese sauce over the top and sprinkle with fresh basil leaves. ENJOY!!
