Spiced Maple & Bacon Roast Sprouts

A delicious variation on your traditional sprout dish this Christmas! This one is a crowd pleaser!
Ingredients:
- 500g sprouts
- 4 rashers of smoked bacon
- 1.5 tbsp maple syrup
- 1.5 tbsp Dr. Will's Sriracha Hot Sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Method:
- Preheat your fan oven to 180 degrees.
- Peel the loose tough leaves from the outside of the sprouts, trim the ends and cut them in half. Add them to a baking tray.
- Slice your bacon into 2cm pieces. Add to the baking tray.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the sprouts and bacon, and add the maple syrup and sriracha. Season with salt & pepper, and mix so that everything is well coated.
- Put the tray on the middle shelf of the oven and roast for 25 minutes, giving everything a little toss halfway through.
- Once the sprouts are cooked and there are little crispy ends forming on a couple of the sprouts and bacon bits, it's ready! Remove from the oven and pour into your favourite serving dish.
