Baked Sweet Chilli Chickpeas

A perfect dish for a mezze plate, starring our Sweet Chilli Sauce!


400g tinned chickpeas
2 red peppers, chopped
1 red onion
1 tbsp Dr. Will's Sweet Chilli Sauce
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp garlic granules
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp sriracha
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 lime, juiced
1 tsp corn flour

To serve: use as part of a mezze dish - serving with anything you like!


  1. Preheat oven to 220C. Line a baking tray.

  2. Add chickpeas to a large mixing bowl and mix with onion & peppers with spices & oil. Spread evenly across the baking tray. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, add the remaining ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a low simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until thickened.

  4. Remove baking tray from the oven and drizzle 1-2 tbsp of sauce over the mix.

  5. Stir the mix with a spoon and bake for another 10-15 minutes.

  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle more sauce over.
